The Egyptian striker's contract is due to expire at the end of the season and he admitted he is "disappointed" to have still not been offered a new deal to stay on.
He told reporters after Sunday's (24.11.24) 3-2 win away to Southampton: "Well, we are almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay in the club.
"I'm probably more out than in.
"You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I haven't received anything yet about my future."
The 32-year-old star suggested he is keen to stay on Merseyside but is trying not to think too far into the future just now.
Asked if he was disappointed there had been no offer from Liverpool, he said: "Of course, yeah. I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end it is not in my hands or the fans' hands. Let's wait and see.
"I'm not going to retire soon so I'm just playing, focusing on the season and I'm trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League as well. I'm disappointed but we will see."
Sources told Sky Sports that Liverpool opened talks with Salah's representative, Ramy Abbas, last month but a formal offer won't be made until terms have been agreed.
While the club feel negotiations so far have been positive, there is said to be a gap between what is on the table and what Salah is looking for.
