Jack Grealish loves festive family time

Jack Grealish loves family time at Christmas.

The Manchester City midfielder – who became a father for the first time in September when long-term partner Sasha Attwood gave birth to their daughter Mila – enjoys tucking into a festive feast surrounded by his loved ones on 25 December.

Asked his favourite Christmas tradition, he told Match magazine: “Just spending time with my loved ones on Christmas Day, and having a nice Christmas dinner.”

Jack recently admitted parenthood "tops everything" he has accomplished in his life so far.

He said: "I don't really know how to explain it, you know you feel so many good moments in your life but that just tops everything."

But as well as his personal joy, the sportsman had to deal with professional frustration when he was left out of the England squad for Euro 2024.

And the 29-year-old footballer previously admitted he “didn’t really agree” with Gareth Southgate’s decision.

He told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I will be honest with you - I didn't really agree with it.

"You need a bit of a balance in every position on the pitch and I class myself [as] quite an experienced player now.

"I have won a lot of stuff now so, you asked me should I have gone, yes, I still think I should have, but obviously it wasn’t meant to be."
