Spurs were beaten 3-2 by Everton in the Premier League on Sunday (19.01.25) and the coach has stressed the need for reinforcements amid an injury crisis that has decimated their backline.
Postecoglou told Sky Sports: "There will be urgency but it doesn't need me to say it, everybody can see that.
"I have no issues with how the club are going about it, they are working hard and trying to find solutions. These players need help that is for sure and hopefully over the next 10 days or so we'll find a solution. It is really tricky, we're not the only ones in the market. The club are trying hard."
Spurs are 15th in the Premier League after their latest defeat but Postecoglou insists that he has not lost faith in his players.
The Australian manager said: "No it [faith] doesn't [waiver]. If you look at the situation we're in, it will eventually dissipate. I certainly hope and believe it will.
"We'll give ourselves the opportunity to get consistency in performance and results. I certainly haven't lost belief or determination to turn it around and the players showed in the second half that they haven't either."
Pressure is mounting on Postecoglou but he doesn't want to get bogged down by speculation about his job security.
He said: "I separate myself from it. This is not about me. What's about me is I have a responsibility of the group of players I do have to try to get through this. That's all I've got to focus on. For me to focus on anything else is abstaining myself from the responsibility I have.
"I'm determined to get us out of this. The club is doing its best to help - it's more about helping the players than me. We're asking massive jobs of 18-year-olds, 17-year-olds out there trying to win games of football for us and others playing week on week."
