The Gypsy King announced earlier this month that he was bringing his glittering career to an end - just weeks after his rematch loss to Oleksandr Usyk - and his promoter insists that he made the decision to spend more time with his wife Paris and their seven children.
Warren told Seconds Out: "I've spoken to him a couple of times very briefly, he has been spending a lot of time with his family.
"He's in Disneyland at the moment so he's enjoying himself and enjoying time with his family.
"Last year, in camp he was [training for] 10 weeks and then he got the cut eye and then he went back in straight again for another few months in camp and then he was in camp for three months for the last fight.
"So it's a long time that he didn't get to see his family and his kids so he is spending some quality time with them."
Warren also revealed that he does not expect the former world champion to make a comeback, despite the prospect of a blockbuster clash against compatriot Anthony Joshua.
He said: "At this moment in time, I don’t expect him to come back...
"He’s enjoying his retirement and spending time with his family. If he’s happy, I’m happy!"
However, Fury has previously announced that he was quitting the sport in the past before making a return and Warren's rival promoter Eddie Hearn expressed doubt that it was the end for the boxer.
He said following Fury's announcement: "We've been here before. If that is the end, congratulations on a great career.
"One of the best heavyweights of this generation and made a bucket load of money. If your hearts not in it, if the fight has been punched out of you, it's definitely time to call it quits.
"A few people will always suggest that he could be calling a bluff, but I don't know him well enough to give you an answer. If you don't want it anymore, if your hearts not in it anymore, if you've had the fight punched out of you – it's a dangerous game."
