The British star has stormed into the quarter-finals in Florida and thinks that she has been performing with "freedom" on the court.
Raducanu told Sky Sports: "I've come a long way in the last week, I think since Indian Wells I wasn't necessarily feeling great about my tennis, about everything.
"But this week I have some really good people around me, who I trust and who I have fun with off the court as well and that's extremely important, I think.
"For me who's just very expressive, when I play my best I'm definitely authentic, true to myself and creative.
"I feel when I'm boxed in into a regimented way, I'm not able to kind of express myself in the same way. I'm happy with how I've realised that this week as well."
Raducanu beat Amanda Anisimova on Monday (24.03.25) to reach the last eight and explained that she did her best to make the match a physical duel against an opponent who was struggling with a wrist problem.
The former US Open champion said: "I just knew I had to dig every ball that I could and make it as physical as possible because I backed myself in that regard.
"I was happy with how I moved, how I extended the rallies from the first game, the first points and kind of just got in my opponent's head."
Raducanu's build-up to the tournament was overshadowed by the news that she had split from coach Vladimir Platenik after just two weeks but she insists that she performs better as a "free spirit".
She said: "I’d say I’m a bit of a free spirit so I don’t need restrictions or being told what to do.
"I think when I’m being really authentic, that’s when I’m playing my best."
